Description
Fmoc-N-amido-PEG6-acid contains an Fmoc group and a terminal carboxylic acid linked through a linear PEG chain. Under basic conditions, the Fmoc group can be deprotected to yield a free amine that can be employed in additional conjugations. In the presence of activators (EDC), the terminal carboxylic acid can react with primary amine groups to produce a persistent amide bond.
