Description
m-PEG4-lipoamide is a polyethylene glycol methyl ether (mPEG) derivative that contains a lipoamide functional group. It can be used to modify metal surfaces such as gold or silver. Since the terminal dithiolane forms two bonds with the metal, it is more stable on metal surfaces than similar compounds containing a single thiol group.
