PRODUCT INFORMATION

Description
This is a homobifunctional linker used for 'Click Chemistry.' It consists of two terminal alkyne (propargyl) groups linked by a central ether. It is not reactive on its own but serves as a "bridge." Its primary application is to crosslink two molecules that are functionalized with azides, using the Copper(I)-catalyzed Alkyne-Azide Cycloaddition (CuAAC) reaction. For example, it can be used to link two azide-modified peptides or to create crosslinked hydrogels from azide-functionalized polymers, forming stable triazole linkages.
