| Target Overview | The protein encoded by this gene is a component of the eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4F complex, which recognizes the 7-methylguanosine cap structure at the 5' end of messenger RNAs. The encoded protein aids in translation initiation by recruiting ribosomes to the 5'-cap structure. Association of this protein with the 4F complex is the rate-limiting step in translation initiation. This gene acts as a proto-oncogene, and its expression and activation is associated with transformation and tumorigenesis. Several pseudogenes of this gene are found on other chromosomes. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. |

High specificity and binding affinityExcellentThe product was delivered with detailed protocol guidelines, which made it easy to integrate into our existing experiments.
This aptamer has significantly improved the accuracy of our assaysExcellentThe aptamer's ability to selectively bind to EIF4E without affecting other proteins has proven invaluable. The results have been reproducible, and the data quality is excellent. One downside was a bit of a learning curve with the protocol, but the support team was very helpful.
I was impressed by the performanceExcellentThe aptamer's binding characteristics were just as advertised, providing high specificity and minimal background noise. The product met all our expectations.
A reliable toolExcellentIts performance in our experiments has been consistent, and the data generated has been robust. We appreciated the comprehensive user manual provided, which helped streamline our experimental setup.
The product quality is high, and the support team is very responsiveExcellentIts ability to specifically bind to EIF4E without cross-reacting with other proteins has enabled us to explore new avenues of research. The protocol was straightforward, but some optimization was needed initially. Overall, a very effective research tool.
