To accelerate the complement therapeutics, researchers need access to robust and reproducible products that can:

Below is an overview of the comprehensive categories we provide to empower complement research. Each section corresponds to a dedicated product family, accessible via specialized subpages on our website.
Antibodies are the cornerstone of complement biology, enabling researchers to interrogate specific complement proteins, fragments, and complexes with unmatched precision. Our antibody collection includes monoclonal and polyclonal, neoepitope-specific, inhibitory and detection antibodies.
We provide recombinant and purified complement proteins that maintain native structure and activity. Highlights include classical pathway proteins (C1q, C1r, C1s, C4, C2), alternative pathway proteins (Factor B, Factor D, Properdin), lectin pathway proteins (MBL, MASPs, Ficolins) and terminal pathway proteins (C5-C9).
Assay kits provide ready-to-use solutions for studying complement activity and inhibition. Our kits cover ELISA kits for C3a, C5a, sC5b-9 quantification, functional hemolysis assays for classical, alternative, and lectin pathway activity, complement inhibition assays for drug screening, and multiplex kits for profiling multiple complement factors simultaneously.
We provide high-quality sera and plasmas that retain intact complement activity. Options include normal human serum, complement-preserved animal sera, heat-inactivated controls, and pathology-specific sera. They can be applied to complement hemolysis assays, in vitro complement activation studies and more.
Our inhibitor panel enables precise modulation of complement activity. Categories include small molecule inhibitors of Factor D, C1s, and C3 convertases, peptide inhibitors targeting C3/C5 cleavage, and novel complement regulators engineered for enhanced stability.
Complement vectors enable genetic manipulation and expression studies. Products include expression vectors for complement proteins and regulators, CRISPR/Cas9-based vectors for complement gene editing, and reporter vectors for complement pathway activation readouts.
Complement lysates provide a rich source of complement proteins for research use. Available formats include cell lysates expressing recombinant complement proteins, tissue lysates for complement profiling, and pathway-specific lysates (e.g., complement regulator-deficient cells).
Our complement reagents portfolio includes buffers and substrates optimized for complement assays and reference standards for assay calibration. They can be applied to enhance assay reproducibility, standardize complement research across labs, and provide controls for drug screening assays.
Complement peptides are powerful tools for mechanistic exploration. They can be applied to study complement-receptor interactions (C3aR, C5aR1, C5aR2), screen novel drug candidates, and map complement cleavage sites.
Aptamers are emerging as novel molecular tools and therapeutics. We provide DNA and RNA aptamers targeting C3, C5, Factor B, and regulators, high-affinity binders for complement detection, and inhibitory aptamers for complement pathway blockade.

CH50 inhibitor assay by using NHS and CH50 Functional Test Kit (CTK-907)
The CH50 is usually used to represent the total complement activity, or screen the activation/deficiency of the classical complement pathway. The degree of hemolysis is related to the content and function of complement components in serum. As the complement content is positively correlated with the degree of hemolysis, not linearly, but in S-curve, the middle part of the reaction curve, i.e. 50% hemolysis (CH50), is usually taken as the end point. If a complement component is deficient or not activated, the membrane attack complex will not be formed, and no hemolysis can be observed.
AP50 functional test (CTK-908)
The AH50, similar to CH50, is used to represent the total complement activity, or screen the activation/deficiency of the alternative complement pathway. It is available for the sample of plasma or serum of several species, such as human, mouse, rat, guinea pig, bovine, hamster, swine, sheep, monkey. AH50 will be decreased due to hereditary or acquired deficiencies of the alternative pathway. The combination of CH50 and AH50 tests can be used for the identification of the specific pathway abnormality.
