PRODUCT INFORMATION
Description
This heterobifunctional linker features a terminal primary hydroxyl (-OH) group and an acid-labile Boc (tert-Butyloxycarbonyl)-protected amine. The Boc group provides robust protection for the primary amine but can be selectively removed using mild acid (e.g., TFA) to expose the amine for conjugation (e.g., to an NHS ester). The hydroxyl group is a stable, nucleophilic handle that can be used for immobilization onto activated surfaces (e.g., epoxy) or for esterification. This linker is useful for multi-step, sequential conjugations requiring orthogonal (acid vs. other) deprotection strategies.
