Complement C4C is a degradation product of iC4b, which is formed by single site cleavage of the alpha chain of C4b by complement Factor I. C4c is a molecule composed of two a-chain fragments, which interacts with C1 and C2 to form C3 convertase of the classic activation pathway. |
