TRIFMA-Based Soluble CR3 Detection Protocol

Equipped with complete experimental equipment and technical platforms, Creative Biolabs proudly claims to have the ability to provide robust and stable complement-related research solutions for scientific researchers around the world. Complement receptor 3 (CR3) consists of two single chains, which are respectively defined as CD11b and CD18. CR3 is mainly located on the surface of NK cells or myeloid cells, it participates in immunological responses involving complement regulation, implicates endothelial cell adhesion and opsonizes phagocytosis during inflammation. The latest research results show that the shedding of the extramembrane domain of CR3 is an essential process for CR3 to exert its biological function of immunological mediation.

Here, we quantify soluble CD11b and CD18 in serum by an optimized time-resolved immunofluorescence assay (TRIFMA), thereby achieving highly sensitive and reproducible monitoring of CR3 domain shedding.
