CFB Purification Protocol

Creative Biolabs is the world's leading CRO partner for the biopharmaceutical industries. From research to product commercialization, we provide the most advanced, complete analytical solutions for biotherapy. Complement factor B is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CFB gene. It is purified from normal human serum. Below we provide a CFB purification reference process so that you can quickly develop your research protocol.

CFB Purification Protocol

Factor B is a single-chain glycoprotein with a molecular weight of about 93K. It circulates as an inactive proenzyme (i.e., a zymogen), and only becomes activated after cleavage by the protein factor D.
