Detection Protocol of Complement Receptor 1 on Mouse Splenic B Cells

CR1 is the receptor for C3b and C4b and is coexpressed with CR2 on human and mouse B cells. CR1 has multiple functions. Firstly, CR1 is an essential regulator of complement convertase activity. Furthermore, CR1 also acts as a canonical B cell coreceptor. Therefore, the detection of CR1 is an effective strategy to identify B cells, and in addition, CR1 expression levels can be used to characterize various B cell populations. Experienced in the field of complement research for decades of years, Creative Biolabs has established a comprehensive complement detection platform and developed a variety of complement products.

Detection Protocol of CR1 on Mouse Splenic B Cells

Here, we describe a simple protocol for detecting CR1 expression on mouse splenic B cell subsets by flow cytometry.
