Senior Scientist, Antibody Engineering

Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled scientist to join Creative Biolabs’ antibody discovery team. The qualified candidate will cover various aspects of the antibody discovery and development process, including the cloning of antibody genes, engineering antibodies for therapeutic use (antibody humanization) and the generation of expression plasmids. In addition, the role will possess substantial experience in protein display technologies, especially phage and mammalian display along with extensive hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and protein biochemistry.
Key Responsibilities
Design and engineer therapeutic and tool antibodies using structure based engineering and other emerging technologies.
Ensure timely delivery of antibody products.
Interpret and analyze the activity data to design further experiments.
Work closely with fellow scientists to promote the development of innovate therapeutic.
Assist in lab management and actively participate, advise, and present to project teams.
Basic Qualifications
Advanced degree in Biochemistry/Cell Biology/Immunology or a related discipline.
Hands-on work experience in antibody engineering, affinity optimization, and protein structure-function relationships.
Solid understanding of biotherapeutic format optimization, bi-functional scaffolds and antibody-drug conjugates.
Strong leadership skills and collaborative relations with biology team leads and effective participation in cross-functional project teams are expected.
Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams and deliver results to timelines.
Exceptional organization, communication and inter-personal skills.
