MemDX™ Cell-free Protein Expression in Wheat Germ lysate for protein expression screening Kit is a cell-free protein synthesis system using wheat germ extracts for protein production. By combining the transcription and translation reactions to be performed at the same time in the same reaction mixture, protein expression reactions can easily be set up with few pipetting steps. It's optimal for doing small-scale protein expression screening experiments. The kit contains a small amount of labeled lysine that allows to prepare a fluorescently labeled protein for protein expression analysis.
