| Background | Cholecystokinin (CCK) is a peptide hormone of the gastrointestinal system responsible for stimulating the digestion of fat and protein. CCK binds with high affinity to CCKAR, a seven-transmembrane domain G protein-coupled receptor expressed in pancreatic acinar cells, gallbladder, smooth muscle, chief and D cells of the gastric mucosa, and the central and peripheral nervous systems. Activation of CCKAR stimulates multiple interacting signaling cascades initiated through the Gq family, G13, Gs, and arrestin. The genes of CCKAR consist of five exons interrupted by four introns. Structurally, the extracellular domain of this protein, which adopts a tertiary structure consisting of a few helical turns and a disulfide-cross linked loop, is critical for interactions with its corresponding ligands. |

With our innovative approaches and comprehensive services, Creative Biolabs is dedicated to advancing CCKAR gene therapy. We provide tailored solutions to meet your specific requirements. Please for more services.
Creative Biolabs offers promoter-driven targeted expression services. A pivotal strategy underpinning the development of gene therapeutic interventions for pathologies involving the cholecystokinin A receptor (CCKAR) necessitates the utilization of promoters exhibiting tumor-specific transcriptional activity. The endogenous CCKAR promoter itself presents a salient example. Critically, this regulatory element demonstrates markedly augmented activity within pancreatic neoplastic cells when contrasted with corresponding non-malignant cell types. Such differential expression underscores its significant potential as a specific vector component for precisely targeted gene therapy applications aimed at pancreatic cancer.
Creative Biolabs offers delivery services using liposomes. Liposomal delivery platforms engineered for cholecystokinin A receptor (CCKAR)-targeted gene therapy exhibit notable efficacy. Investigations utilizing orthotopic murine models of prostate cancer reveal that this therapeutic modality significantly represses tumor progression. Indeed, a marked prolongation of survival is observed in treated subjects. The strategic encapsulation within liposomes is key; this method substantially enhances both the pharmacokinetic stability and the resultant therapeutic potency of the delivered genetic payload.
Creative Biolabs offers CCKAR metabolic pathways research services. Given the role of CCKAR in regulating gallbladder motility and cholesterol metabolism, gene therapy targeting CCKAR can also address metabolic disorders. This approach can potentially prevent gallstone formation and related complications.
Creative Biolabs offers comprehensive and innovative services to drive the development of CCKAR cell therapy. Our commitment to excellence ensures the highest quality and reliability. Please for more services.
Creative Biolabs offers CCKAR dual signaling activation research services. This involves using autologous TILs transduced with attIL12, which synergizes with T-cell receptor (TCR) activation to produce interferon-gamma (IFNγ). This dual pathway significantly reduces collagen expression by downregulating CCKAR and TGFβ signaling, promoting deeper T-cell infiltration into tumors.
Creative Biolabs offers development and preclinical research services of combining radiotherapy with cell therapy. This includes increasing the expression of adhesion molecules and chemokines that facilitate the infiltration of NK cells and CAR-T cells. Combining radiotherapy with CCKAR-targeted cell therapies can enhance the homing and efficacy of immune cells.
