| Background | CCKBR is a type B gastrin receptor that encoded by CCKBR gene. It belongs to the seven-transmembrane domain β-adrenergic receptor superfamily. There are 3 isoforms of the human CCK-BR protein resulted from alternative splicing. The cholecystokinin B receptor (CCKBR) functions mechanistically as a G-protein coupled receptor. Its endogenous ligands encompass gastrin and cholecystokinin (CCK). These are critical neurogastrointestinal peptides exerting complex regulatory influences within both the brain and the gastrointestinal system. Notably, CCKBR constitutes the predominant subtype among central cholecystokinin receptors. Its defining pharmacological characteristic is a high binding affinity demonstrated towards both sulfated and non-sulfated cholecystokinin peptide analogs. |

With our innovative approaches and comprehensive services, Creative Biolabs is dedicated to advancing CCKBR gene therapy. We provide tailored solutions to meet your specific requirements. Please for more services.
Creative Biolabs offers gene therapy research services. Gene therapy strategies directed towards the cholecystokinin B receptor (CCKBR) often leverage viral vector platforms. These sophisticated delivery vehicles are employed to introduce therapeutic genetic payloads specifically designed to modulate CCKBR expression levels or perturb its intrinsic signaling functions. Furthermore, a specific implementation involves the engineering of adenoviral constructs. Such vectors can be rationally designed for the ectopic expression of selective CCKBR antagonists. Consequently, these expressed antagonists effectively inhibit downstream CCKBR-mediated signal transduction, ultimately contributing to an attenuation of tumor proliferative capacity.
Creative Biolabs offers delivery services using liposomes. Liposomal delivery systems mediating cholecystokinin B receptor (CCKBR)-targeted gene therapy demonstrate considerable efficacy. Specifically, in orthotopic murine models simulating human prostate cancer, this approach achieves significant repression of tumor burden. Furthermore, it demonstrably prolongs subject survival. The encapsulation within liposomes is crucial; it enhances both the stability and the ultimate therapeutic efficacy of the delivered genetic constructs.
Creative Biolabs offers comprehensive and innovative services to drive the development of CCKBR cell therapy. Our commitment to excellence ensures the highest quality and reliability. Please for more services.
Creative Biolabs offers CAR-T cells targeting CCKBR construction services. The cells are engineered to express a chimeric antigen receptor that specifically targets CCKBR on the surface of tumor cells. This method allows for highly specific targeting of cancer cells, reducing off-target effects and improving therapeutic efficacy.
Creative Biolabs offers NK cells targeting CCKBR construction services. Similar to CAR T cells, NK cells can be engineered to express a receptor that specifically targets CCKBR. This enhances their ability to recognize and destroy CCKBR-expressing tumor cells.
