MemDX™ Cell-free Protein Expression in E.coli Lysate - Dialysis Mode Kit is a cell-free protein synthesis system using E.coli extracts. This system contains all the required components for protein synthesis and uses an efficient, coupled transcription/ translation reaction to produce proteins. The E.coli extract contains necessary components including ribosomes, protein translation factors, aminoacyl tRNA synthetase, total tRNA and others required for protein expression.
In a standard dialysis system, the user needs to mix the template DNA (plasmids or PCR products), E.coli extract, and other components into the dialysis system, and transfer it into a specific buffer. The outer solution contains amino acids, nucleotides, ATP and other factors. The inner solution contains all necessary components for E.coli cell-free protein expression. The dialysis will improve the in vitro synthesis yield.
