  • T-cell surface glycoprotein CD4 (CD4) is a full-length human receptor. The T-cell surface glycoprotein CD4 is a glycoprotein involved in the immune response and cell-mediated immunity. T lymphocytes that carry the CD4 surface antigen are called T helper cells and are the subtype of T lymphocytes that are primarily infected by HIV. It is therefore a target for HIV infection and immunotherapy. The surrounding nanodisc copolymer is biotinylated to support direct surface immobilization without modifying the protein itself. The preparation uses 2-step purification.
