Our Advanced Polyclonal Antibody Discovery Platforms & Technologies

Innovation is the cornerstone of our service. We continuously integrate the latest technological advancements to deliver polyclonal antibodies that meet the demands of modern research.

Strategic Antigen Design and Synthesis

The success of any antibody project begins with the antigen. We offer comprehensive support, from gene synthesis and recombinant protein expression (E. coli, insect, mammalian) to peptide synthesis and modification (e.g., phosphorylation, acetylation). Our algorithm analyzes factors like hydrophilicity, surface accessibility, and sequence homology to design peptide antigens with the highest probability of generating specific and functional antibodies.

Potent Immunization Strategies

Our immunization protocols are optimized for maximum efficacy and animal welfare.

Multi-Step Antibody Purification and QC

A high titer is only half the battle; purity and specificity are paramount. We employ a rigorous, multi-step purification strategy to ensure your antibody is ready for its intended application.

Our Polyclonal Antibody Discovery Workflow

We have streamlined our production process into a clear, five-phase workflow, ensuring efficiency and transparency.

Phase 1: Project Consultation and Antigen Design

Phase 2: Immunization

Phase 3: Titer Monitoring (Ongoing)

Phase 4: Antibody Purification

Phase 5: Final QC and Delivery

Extensive Host Species Selection

The choice of host species can significantly impact antibody diversity and specificity, particularly concerning the phylogenetic distance to the antigen's source protein. We offer an extensive selection to meet any project requirement.

Host Species Key Advantages & Recommended Applications
Rabbit The most popular choice. Produces high-affinity IgG antibodies with excellent avidity. Ideal for WB, IHC, ELISA, and IP.
Mouse / Rat Cost-effective and fast. Suitable for generating antibodies against antigens from species other than rodents. Useful for pilot studies.
Goat / Sheep Larger blood volume allows for large-scale production of antiserum. Excellent for generating secondary antibodies and for targets where high quantities are needed.
Chicken (IgY) Phylogenetically distant from mammals, making them ideal for generating antibodies against highly conserved mammalian proteins. IgY antibodies do not bind to Fc receptors or Protein A/G, reducing background in certain assays.
Alpaca / Llama Produce unique heavy-chain-only antibodies (VHH), the source of single domain antibody. Useful for specialized applications and recognizing cryptic epitopes.
Guinea Pig Often used when rabbit or mouse hosts fail to produce a sufficient immune response.

Guaranteed Performance for Your Application

Our polyclonal antibodies are validated for a wide range of immunoassays. We can also perform custom validation upon request.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: What is the typical timeline for a standard rabbit polyclonal antibody project?

A: Our standard protocol is approximately 13-14 weeks, from antigen synthesis to delivery of the purified antibody. We also offer expedited services.

Q: How much antigen do I need to provide?

A: For a standard project in two rabbits, we typically require 3-5 mg of recombinant protein or 5-10 mg of a KLH-conjugated peptide. Our project managers will provide precise quantities based on your specific project plan.

Q: Can you generate antibodies against a difficult target?

A: Absolutely. This is our specialty. With our advanced adjuvant technology, diverse host options, and expert antigen design strategies, we have a proven track record of success with targets that have failed elsewhere.
