MemDX™ Recombinant Full Length Human CD9 Protein (Biotinylated Nanodisc, Rho1D4 Tag) (CAT#: SYF-0926-CW86)

Recombinant full-length human CD9 protein reconstituted in a biotinylated nanodisc membrane-mimetic system for immobilization, binding, detection, and assay development applications; the copolymer is biotinylated while the protein itself remains unmodified.

  • Introduction
  • Tetraspanin-29 (CD9) is a full-length human tetraspanin. CD9 antigen is a member of the tetraspanin family of proteins, which are involved in various biological processes, including cell adhesion, paranodal junction function, cell motility, and tumour metastasis. In addition to these functions, CD9 plays a role in mechanisms related to fertility, such as sperm-egg fusion. The surrounding nanodisc copolymer is biotinylated to support direct surface immobilization without modifying the protein itself. The preparation uses 2-step purification.
  • Alternative Names
  • BA2, P24, TSPAN29, MRP-1, MIC3
