Adjuvant Selection
Creative Biolabs is a world leader in vaccine services and provide adjuvants for vaccines to meet different customer's demand. We offer a full range of Custom Adjuvant Synthesis services including Aluminum, Oil Adjuvant, Bacterial products, ISCOMS and more. Adjuvants play an important part in enhancing the immune response to the antigen. Creative Biolabs’ adjuvant can enhance the ability of antigens while reducing the amount of antigen needed.
What Is An Adjuvant?
Adjuvant is an immunological agent that added to vaccines to modify the immune response. Adjuvants enhance the ability of antigens by boosting it to give a higher amount of antibody and a longer-lasting protection, thus minimizing the amount of injected foreign material.
Mechanisms of Adjuvants
Adjuvants are added to vaccines to enhance the immune response to the antigen in different ways:
- Broadening vaccine protection by extending the presence of antigen in the blood
- Improving immune response by helping absorb the antigen presenting cells antigen
- Supporting the production of cytokines
- Activating lymphocytes and macrophages
Adjuvants can act in various ways in presenting an antigen to the immune system to improve routing and adaptive immune responses to antigens. The reaction is mediated by B and T cells, two primary types of lymphocytes. Adjuvants apply their effects through different mechanisms. Some adjuvants, such as alum (the first aluminum salt used as an adjuvant), apply their effects as delivery systems by generating depots that trap antigens at the injection site, providing a slow release that continues to stimulate the immune system. Adjuvants can also extend the supply of a vaccine by reducing the amount of antigen needed.

PRR Ligands Scanning
Pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) are proteins expressed by cells of the innate immune system to identify two classes of molecules: pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) and damage-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs). Creative Biolabs provides PRR Ligands Scanning services to identify potent inhibitors or activators of infectious diseases-related innate immune signaling pathways.
