The Methods of Vaccine Microbial Tests

There are many ways to detect the number of microbes in a vaccine. One is blood cell counting plate method. The blood cell count plate is a thick glass plate with a special structure scale and thickness. There are four furrows and two ridges on the glass plate, a short transverse groove and two platforms in the center. The table of the two ridges is 0.1 mm higher than the surface of the two platforms. By observing with oil mirror, the number of microorganisms in a certain large cell can be calculated, and the number of bacteria contained in 1 ml of bacteria liquid can be calculated. This method is simple, intuitive and quick, but only counts the spores produced by microorganism or filamentous microorganism suitable for single cell state, and the result is the total number of bacteria including dead cells.

Another is ATP bioluminescence assay. ATP is an active molecular in all biological cells, and its three phosphate roots are linked to adenosine molecules by a high energy bond, which releases energy when the ATP is decomposed. When the bacteria release ATP, they can use the biochemical square to measure the ATP content. This method allows results to be achieved within minutes and significantly reduces detection time.
