Diabetes mellitus, also known as diabetes, has become an important public health disease. It is a metabolic disease characterized by high blood sugar. Moreover, improper management can increase the risk of diabetes in children and increase the risk of complications for pregnant women and children during pregnancy and childbirth.

Type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) is due to the innate presence of antibodies that antagonize islet beta cells, resulting in the inability of the body to produce enough insulin or to produce insulin at all.
