Background

In practice, those small-molecule chemotherapeutic drugs used to treat solid tumors have poor solubility under physiological conditions, which determines that they cannot be dissolved in water or liquid, making it impossible to administrate such drugs in liquid form. Although the method of mixing with an organic solvent can solve the problem of insolubility of the drug, organic solvents such as alcohol and DMSO are harmful to the human body and cannot be used for treating brain cancer such as glioma. Therefore, such drugs can often only be taken orally in solid form, and this method often does not effectively infiltrate the tumor, thereby limiting the full effect of the drug.

Nano Inclusion Technology

Creative Biolabs' unique Nano Inclusion technology was invented to solve the above problems. This technique is suitable for small molecule chemotherapy drugs that have strong potency but are poorly soluble under physiological pH conditions and can only be administered orally in solid form. Through the Nano Inclusion technique, the complexed drug molecules are dissolved in a liquid and can be administered in liquid form. More importantly, by this delivery method, the drug can be directly infused into the tumor, so that such tumor drugs are no longer limited to one oral administration form. Nano Inclusion uses a nano method to coat a drug in a complex composed of a hydrophilic outer surface and a hydrophobic inner surface. Those poorly water-soluble drugs can be bound to the inner surface of the complex and then encapsulated inside the complex, while the outer surface of the complex can associate with water molecules in the liquid phase. The biggest advantage of this technology is that the drug molecules are water soluble at physiological pH. As a result, liquid form of cancer drugs engineered by Nano Inclusion technology has the two main advantages over traditional oral cancer drugs, a) Ability to be administered in liquid form, b) Reduce the required amount of drug that needs to get to the tumor site.
