Anti-idiotype antibodies (anti-Id Abs) are antibodies binding to idiotopes that are located in the variable region, including the antigen binding site, of another antibody. Since anti-ID Abs are capable of binding to antibody drugs within biological fluids, they are widely used as diagnostic reagents for the detection, identification, and analysis of therapeutic drugs to support pre-clinical and downstream clinical trials.
