Description
1-palmitoyl-2-arachidonoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine (PAPE) is a 1-(alk-1-enyl)-2-acyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine in which the alkenyl and acyl groups are specified as (1Z)-hexadecenyl and arachidonoyl respectively. It has been used to determine its effect on oxidative burst in neutrophil granulocytes.
