Liposomes Phospholipids Lipids

PEGylated Lipids

As a world-leading liposome manufacturer, Creative Biolabs provides various PEGylated lipid products for your liposome research. All the products are manufactured in accordance with strict protocols to ensure the best quality, purity, and efficacy. You can find PEGylated lipids with any kind of functional group in the list below.

Polyethyleneglycol (PEG) is the most widely used polymer in the formulation of liposomes. The PEG groups are generally conjugated to the ethanolamine moiety of phosphatidylethanolamine (PE), such as DSPE-PEG2000-X. The single hydroxyl group of PEG lipid can be coupled with small molecule drugs, antibodies, and groups for click chemistry and thus formulates different functional liposomes. However, another kind of methoxy PEG is closed at one end and cannot be functionalized, which is commonly used in stealth liposomes. When injected into the body, liposomes with hydrophilic PEG chains will form brush-like barriers, which can reduce liposome aggregation and liposome-protein interactions and therefore increase the blood clearance time. Creative Biolabs provides PEGylated lipids with multiple functional groups such as amine, thiol, folate, succinyl, maleimide, biotin, etc. The molecular weight of PEG chains is also selectable. You can also come to our custom lipid synthesis service for a customized liposome product, our expert team can always exceed your expectations.

Creative Biolabs has more than ten years of experience in lipid-based drug carrier research and has served clients all over the world. We are committed to being a reliable partner in your liposome research. For more information about our products, please feel free to contact us.
