Description
1-Myristoyl-2-hydroxy-sn-glycero-3-phosphate has a phosphate group attached to sn-3 position, an aliphatic chain attached to sn-1 or sn-2 position and the hydroxyl group attached to the remaining sn-1 or sn-2 position. It is used as internal standard to spike serum samples for the extraction of serum lipids.
