1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine (DSPE) is a water soluble derivative of phosphatidylethanolamine with (18:0) stearic acid acyl chains. It is used to prepare the intermediate 1,2-dioctadecanoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine (DSPE)-polyethylene glycol (PEG)-SPDP for the preparation of Lipid-PEG-CpG.
