ADRB1 Analysis

With years of experience supporting antibody development and biomarker analysis, scientists at Creative Biolabs utilize different technologies and approaches to achieve beta-1 adrenergic receptor (ADRB1) analysis. By partnering with our team for ADRB1 characterization studies, you'll gain access to cutting-edge technology and assure your program adheres to the highest standards of quality, technical analysis, and reporting.

Introduction

The adrenergic receptors are a prototypic family of guanine nucleotide binding regulatory protein-coupled receptors which mediate the physiological effects of the hormone epinephrine and the neurotransmitter norepinephrine. Among them, ADRB1 is predominately located in the heart. Specific polymorphisms in this gene have been shown to affect the resting heart rate and can be involved in heart failure. Fig.1 shows the reported ADRB1 polymorphisms.

Diagnostic Powder

The gene sequence of the human ADRB1 shows a high degree of variability which results in many synonymous and nonsynonymous polymorphisms. The two most frequent ones are the N-terminal Ser49Gly and Arg389Gly in the proximal C-terminus. For the latter, hypertensive patients with Gly389Arg need larger doses than those carrying heterozygous Arg389Arg. Therefore, it is necessary to determine genotypes before treatment to minimize the risk of adverse reactions and provide guidance for personalized therapy. Besides, ADRB1 was also identified as a potential biomarker and may provide new insights for co-therapy of breast cancer.

We Have Your Biomarker Assay Needs Covered

Creative Biolabs provides biomarker analysis services for academic research use. Various techniques for ADRB1 genotyping are available such as DNA sequencing, qPCR, and chip detection. According to research directions and purposes, clients can choose suitable single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) detection methods.

In recent years, Creative Biolabs has been committed to introducing innovative platforms, improving detection capabilities, and developing highly sensitive and selective sensors for gene mutation detection. We have invested a lot of effort in the development of a highly sensitive and selective DNA-based electrochemical sensor for ADRB1 mutation detection. Creative Biolabs has also developed an ELISA assay with high sensitivity and excellent specificity for the detection of ADRB1. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between ADRB1 and analogs was observed. Table 1 shows some small-molecule drugs targeting ADRB1. Creative Biolabs also provides ADRB1 targeting drug screening services.
