Background

AMOT is a transmembrane protein that is aberrantly expressed in a variety of solid tumors. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. Accumulating evidence support that AMOT is involved in the pathological processes of tumor proliferation, apoptosis, and invasion.

Biomarker Research to the Next Level?

AMOT has two isoforms with MW 130 kDa (p130) and 80 kDa (p80). Some studies have evaluated the expression of AMOT-p130 and AMOT-p80 in many cell lines as shown in Table 1.
