ANGPTL4 Analysis Services

Previous cell-based, animal, and clinical studies have collectively identified angiopoietin-like 4 (ANGPTL4) as a prognostic and diagnostic biomarker for diseases such as renal cell carcinoma (RCC), cholangiocarcinoma, and diabetic retinopathy (DR). Creative Biolabs offers an extensive menu of assays to provide flexible solutions achieving more comprehensive understanding of ANGPTL4. Our analysis services have an international reach and employ the latest technology and methodologies so that you get the most accurate and reliable results. Our expert staff are trained to the highest standards and have an in-depth knowledge of their fields and your business needs.

Introduction

ANGPTL4 is a circulating glycoprotein that structurally belongs to the angiopoietin/ANGPTL family. As Fig.1 shown, the human ANGPTL4 protein consists of 406 aa with a signal peptide directing secretion, an amino terminal coiled-coil domain, a linker, and a carboxy-terminal fibrinogen-like domain. The most studied function of ANGPTL4 is its effects on regulating lipid metabolism.

We Have Your Biomarker Assay Needs Covered

It is well-known that noninvasive blood-based biomarkers can be used to monitor response to therapy, guide treatment decisions, and detect the early recurrence of the disease. Tremendous efforts have been devoted to developing diagnostic techniques for the detection of such blood-based protein biomarkers.

Among various approaches, ELISA is the most commonly used method for serum ANGPTL4 detection. As a novel alternative, the aptasensor can be a robust and simple approach for sensitive, specific, and convenient detection of ANGPTL4.

Besides, abundant evidence has opened the way to speculate a potential synergic role of PPARs and ANGPTL4 as key players in the cross talk between metabolic syndromes and cancer. Creative Biolabs also provides customized protein-protein interaction analysis services.
