With one PhD technique team and years of experience in biomarker analysis, antibody development, and biomolecule interaction research, Creative Biolabs is available to aid researchers in refining their technical requirements for biomarker related studies. We provide solutions to ATP2A2 research by bringing together academic knowledge and bioanalytical expertise in biomarker analysis and assay development.
ATPase sarcoplasmic/endoplasmic reticulum Ca2+ transporting 2 (ATP2A2) catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the translocation of calcium from the cytosol into the sarcoplasmic reticulum lumen. ATP2A2 is involved in the regulation of the contraction/relaxation cycle. Mutations in ATP2A2 gene cause Darier disease. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms, ATP2A2a, ATP2A2b, and ATP2A2c. Fig.1 shows the structure of ATP2A2 consisting of 10 transmembrane helices (M1-10), one cytosolic stalk domain, and 3 main domains, A, P, and N.

Headed by globally-recognized key opinion leaders, our biomarker laboratory has exceptional experience in the development and validation of custom biomarker assays to meet the needs of each specific context of use. Creative Biolabs has extensive experience in antibody development and de novo assay development. Our pre-made anti-ATP2A2 mAb is expressed by mammalian cell line as a benchmark antibody for affinity binding assay or functional assay development use.
Besides, Creative Biolabs has also developed a series of antibodies targeting different synthetic phosphorylated peptides of ATP2A2. We validate all antibodies on WB, IHC, ICC, IF, and ELISA with known positive and negative samples to ensure specificity and high affinity. At the gene level, mutation analysis is generally performed to get more information about phenotype-genotype relations. Our popular analysis services targeting ATP2A2 include but are not limited to:
| Cat | Service |
| BAS92-1 | ATP2A2 Protein Analysis |
| BAS92-2 | ATP2A2 Isoform Analysis |
| BAS92-3 | ATP2A2 Mutation Analysis |
If you are interested in our biomarker analysis services, please don't hesitate to contact us today to develop custom solutions for specific needs. We will work to accommodate your request.
