Human CD8+ T cells (IC-LX006)

T-cells are functionally divided into helper T-cells, which are CD4+ CD8- ("T4"), and cytotoxic T-cells, which are CD8+ CD4- ("T8").
T cells can also be divided based on differentiation status into 4 subsets:
1. Naïve ("Tn ", containing Tscm), which are CD27+ CCR7+ CD45RO
2. Central-memory ("Tcm"), which are CD27+ CCR7+ CD45RO+
3. Effector-memory ("Tem"), which are CD27- CCR7- CD45RO+
4. Effector ("Teff"), which are CD27- CCR7- CD45RO-
Human PBMC are separated into 4 subsets using antibodies and magnetic beads. The subsets were: CD4+CD8- T cells (T4), CD8+CD4- T cells (T8), CD4+ central memory T cells (Tcm) and CD4+ effector-memory T cells (Tem). Immediately after isolation, the subsets and the PBMC were analyzed by flow
cytometry for the composition of the subsets.

  • The cell line has been screened using the luciferase based mycoplasma detection kit to confirm the absence of mycoplasma species.

The cell line has been screened using the membrane filtration testing methods to confirm the absence of aerobic, anaerobic and fungi microorganisms.

  • We perform cell genetic stability studies under ICH guidelines. We can provide guidance on the appropriate testing program upon your requirements.
  • Application
  • Those CD8+ T cells can be used for CAR transduction for functional analysis of proliferation, CAR expression, memory and cytotoxic function.
  • Research Use Only
  • Our immune cell are for research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
  • Quality Control
  • Cultures are screened for the presence of bacteries, yeast, fungi and mycoplasma (DNA amplification). Growth media are also certified based on U.S. Public Health Service Guidelines.
  • Storage
  • Lyophilized cells should be stored in a liquid nitrogen tank (-150°C~-190°C). Once reconstituted, the cells may be used for up to five days if properly stored at 2°C - 8°C in the buffer provided.
  • Handling Notes
  • Frozen cells should be thawed immediately upon receipt and grown according to handling procedure to ensure cell viability and proper assay performance.
    Note: Do not freeze the cells upon receipt as it may result in irreversible damage to the cell line.
