Luminex Assay Service for Monitoring CAR-T Cytokine Profiles

All products and services are For Research Use Only and CANNOT be used in the treatment or diagnosis of disease.

Luminex Assay Service helps researchers to monitor the levels of multiple cytokines in a single sample simultaneously. It can be implemented in various applications that covering pathogen detection, drug discovery, biomarker discovery, vaccine development, and cancer research. In particular, Luminex Assay Service is useful for CAR-T development to monitor cytokine profiles of in vitro and in vivo experiment studies. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and the largest immediately available retail analyte selection system, Creative Biolabs is dedicated to providing customized Luminex assays services for our global customers.

What is Luminex Assay?

Luminex system and components.

The Luminex technology is a beads-based immunoassay that offers high-throughput detection of both protein and nucleic acid targets in multiple assay chemistries. Luminex assay, which allows for multiplex detection of up to 100 analytes simultaneously in one sample, can greatly reduce time, labor, and cost as compared to single-reaction-based detection methods.

The Luminex assay has been implemented in a variety of applications that range from transplant medicine, biomarker discovery and validation, pathogen detection, drug discovery, vaccine development, personalized medicine, neurodegeneration, and cancer research.

Luminex Assay Principle

Based on a suspension array, the platform contains capture moieties that are covalently coupled with dyed microspheres internally, also includes phycoerythrin-labeled antibodies binding to the specific antigen-antibody complex on the bead sets. Then, a Luminex instrument recognizes the response and analyses the difference in both bead sets, to identify the bead area and corresponding assigned analyte. The Luminex Assay system allows covalent coupling and detection of respective different types of molecules or macroparticles.
