NELFA

All products and services are For Research Use Only and CANNOT be used in the treatment or diagnosis of disease.

NELFA is a protein-coding gene which is expressed ubiquitously with higher levels in fetal than in adult tissues. This gene is mapped to the 165 kb WHS critical region, and may play a role in the phenotype of the WHS or Pitt-Rogers-Danks syndrome. Diseases associated with NELFA include Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome and Chromosomal Deletion Syndrome. Its related pathways are Formation of HIV elongation complex in the absence of HIV Tat and Gene Expression. Gene Ontology (GO) annotations related to this gene include chromatin binding and translation elongation factor activity.
