NHP PBMCs

All products and services are For Research Use Only and CANNOT be used in the treatment or diagnosis of disease.

Due to their strong similarities to humans across physiologic, developmental, behavioral, immunologic, and genetic levels, non-human primate (NHP) peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) are essential models for a wide spectrum of biomedical research. NHP PBMCs can serve to link the translational research between small animal models and humans. Creative Biolabs provides unparalleled access and customized services for researchers to propose cytokine release syndrome (CRS) management solutions. We offer NHP PBMC model products, establishement services as well as further cytokine detection and analysis services for worldwide clients.

Introduction

PBMCs are a subset of leukocytes, which are integral components of the body's immune system that fight disease. PBMCs consist of a mixture of monocytes and lymphocytes (B cells, T cells, and NK cells) and are isolated from peripheral whole blood via density gradient centrifugation and red blood cell lysis.

PBMCs of NHP are used because of the similarities of these animals to humans in terms of physiology, neuroanatomy, reproduction, cognition, development and social complexity. The close phylogenetic relationship of NHP to humans also makes these animals excellent models for the study of CRS. These similarities between NHP and humans suggest that there is greater validity of the data obtained from primate PBMC models compared to other animal cell models, and experiments conducted using these models might address questions that cannot be addressed using other species.

NHP PBMCs

Services

The PBMCs of NHP such as African Green Monkey, Baboon, Beagle, Cebus, Cynomolgus monkey, Marmoset, Rhesus monkey, Squirrel monkey are available as pooled or individual samples, with either sex as an option. Used for a variety of applications, PBMCs are frequently utilized in drug discovery/development, assay validation/development, and other immunology applications. Creative Biolabs offers isolated PBMCs from NHPs and can provide cytokine release assay (CRA) assay services with the help of our featured NHP PBMCs products. Flow cytometry analysis of the NHP PBMCs will be conducted to demonstrate the expression of cell surface cytokine biomarkers. Further in vitro CRA service andin vitro cytotoxicity analysis service are also available.
