VivoCAR™ Anti-KLK3 (5A10) h(CD28-41BB-CD3z) CAR circRNA utilizes the 5A10 clone to target the PSA protein re-expressed on the surface of prostate cancer cells. This product is significant for its ability to recognize PSA-positive malignant cells in the circulation and bone marrow. By delivering the CAR via the circRNA platform, we enable a transient therapeutic surge of CAR-T activity. The non-integrating nature of the transcript ensures that the therapy naturally tapers off, providing a safe and repeatable method for the systemic clearance of metastatic prostate cancer without long-term genetic risk.

  • Introduction
  • KLK3, universally known as Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA), is a serine protease produced by the epithelial cells of the prostate gland. While largely a secreted protein used as a serum biomarker for prostate cancer, a portion of PSA remains associated with the cell membrane or localized within the tumor microenvironment of malignant prostatic tissue. CAR-T cells targeting KLK3 are designed to recognize these tumor-associated forms, providing a highly specific pathway for treating advanced prostate malignancies.
