This serum is harvested from donors diagnosed with esophageal adenocarcinoma or squamous cell carcinoma. The matrix is enriched with tumor-secreted proteins, circulating cell-free nucleic acids, and markers of the systemic inflammatory response to upper gastrointestinal malignancy. It is optimized for liquid biopsy development, proteomic profiling of oncofetal antigens, and the study of cancer-associated cachexia biomarkers.
