Introduction

Adapter CAR-T (AdCAR-T) technology addresses the fundamental limitations of single-specificity CARs by employing a split recognition/activation design. This system engineers T cells to recognize a universal label rather than a tumor antigen. A separate, non-engineered adapter molecule (AM) acts as the bridge, binding the tumor antigen and the AdCAR-T cell simultaneously.
