Anti-UL40 T cell receptor (KK50.4), pCDTCR1 (TCR-C255Z)

The vector of anti-UL40 T cell receptor (TCR) is constructed for the engineering of T cell to target CMV UL40. The T cells are genetically modified through transduction with a lentiviral vector expressing UL40-specific T cell receptor. And the vector product was designed for the treatment of Cytomegalovirus infection.

  • Introduction
  • Plays a role in the protection against host NK-cell cytotoxicity by upregulating the cell surface expression of HLA-E independent of TAP (HLA-E has an inhibitory effect on the cytotoxic activity of the NK cell). Promotes also cell surface expression of UL18, another viral protein involved in NK-cell evasion.
