Introduction
5T4 is a 72 kDa oncofetal glycoprotein characterized by leucine-rich repeats. It is highly expressed on the surface of various carcinomas but has very limited distribution in normal adult tissues. 5T4 is involved in cell adhesion, motility, and the Wnt signaling pathway, and its expression is often associated with increased tumor invasiveness and poor clinical prognosis, making it an ideal target for solid tumor CAR-T/NK therapies.
