Anti-Ara h2 T cell receptor (YC02), pCDTCR1 (TCR-YC0101)

All products and services are For Research Use Only and CANNOT be used in the treatment or diagnosis of disease.

The vector of anti-Ara h2 T cell receptor (TCR) is constructed for the engineering of T cell to target Allergen II (RQQEQQFKRELRNLPQQCGL) restricted by HLA class II (HLA-DRB1*07:01;HLA-DRB1*11:04;HLA-DRB1*13:02;HLA-DQ2;HLA-DQ5;HLA-DQ6;HLA-DQ7;HLA-DQ8). The T cells are genetically modified through transduction with a lentiviral vector expressing Ara h2-specific T cell receptor.

Target

  • Introduction
  • An allergen is a type of antigen that produces an abnormally vigorous immune response in which the immune system fights off a perceived threat that would otherwise be harmless to the body. Such reactions are called allergies. In technical terms, an allergen is an antigen that is capable of stimulating a type-I hypersensitivity reaction in atopic individuals through Immunoglobulin E (IgE) responses. Most humans mount significant Immunoglobulin E responses only as a defense against parasitic infections. However, some individuals may respond to many common environmental antigens. This hereditary predisposition is called atopy. In atopic individuals, non-parasitic antigens stimulate inappropriate IgE production, leading to type I hypersensitivity.
