Anti-CMV T cell receptor (C (6)), pCDTCR1 (TCR-ZP018)

The vector of anti-CMV T cell receptor (TCR) is constructed for the engineering of T cell to target CMV. The T cells are genetically modified through transduction with a retroviral vector expressing CMV-specific T cell receptor. And the vector product was designed for the treatment of cytomegalovirus infection.

  • Cytomegalovirus (CMV) is a virus in the family Herpesviridae. Humans and monkeys are natural hosts. There are currently eight species of this genus, including human beta herpesvirus type 5 (HCMV, human cytomegalovirus, HHV-5), which is a human-infected species. Diseases associated with HHV-5 include mononucleosis and pneumonia. Human cytomegalovirus is the most studied of all cytomegaloviruses.
