  • General Description
  • The PCR Cleanup Kit can purify DNA molecules from PCR and other enzymatic reactions from enzymes, dNTPs, salts and primers without the need for phenol/chloroform extraction. The recovery efficiency of DNA fragments ranging from 70 bp to 10 kb is as high as 95%. It completely eliminates the slurry residue problems encountered with silicone beads or glass milk-based methods. One column can recover up to 10μg DNA, and the elution volume can be as small as 10μl.

  • The advantages of PCR Cleanup kits include:

    Quality: DNA purified using the PCR Cleanup Kit is free of enzymes, polysaccharides, agarose, residual slurry and salt contamination. And suitable for many downstream molecular operations, including PCR, ligation, restriction enzyme digestion, transformation and transfection, radioactive and fluorescent sequencing.

    Fast: A single sample can be prepared with minimal effort in 10 minutes. 18-24 samples can be processed simultaneously by centrifugation within 30 minutes. Alternatively, a vacuum manifold can be used for more processing.

    Flexible: Microchromatographic columns can be used for centrifugation procedures or vacuum manifolds.

    Convenient: No phenol extraction or ethanol precipitation is required.
