Cytokine-induced killer (CIK) cells are a unique population of immune cells known for their potent anti-tumor properties and ability to target a diverse range of cancer cells. At Creative Biolabs, we have tailored our cytokine/chemokine analysis service to provide researchers with detailed insights into the secretory profile of CIK cells, which is pivotal for the development of effective immunotherapeutic strategies.
CIK cell therapy represents a promising immunotherapeutic approach leveraging the potent cytotoxic activity of CIK cells against cancer. These cells are a heterogeneous population of T lymphocytes, predominantly CD3+CD56+ subsets, generated by ex vivo stimulation with cytokines such as IFN-γ, IL-2, and anti-CD3 antibodies. CIK cells exhibit robust antitumor effects through a non-MHC-restricted mechanism, making them effective against various malignancies. In addition to their cytotoxicity, CIK cells secrete a diverse range of cytokines and chemokines, including IFN-γ, TNF-α, and IL-2, which enhance immune responses by recruiting and activating other immune cells in the tumor microenvironment. Understanding the cytokine and chemokine secretion profiles of CIK cells is crucial for optimizing their therapeutic potential, tailoring treatments to individual patients, and mitigating potential adverse effects.

Creative Biolabs has developed a comprehensive service platform for the analysis of cytokine/chemokine profiles in CIK cells. The service covers a wide array of cytokines and chemokines, including but not limited to interleukins (IL-6, IL-10), TNF-α, IFN-γ, and CCLs. Our platform aims to provide reliable and precise profiling which is crucial for research and therapeutic applications involving immune responses and inflammation regulation.
| IFN-γ | TNF-α | IL-1β | IL-2 | IL-4 | IL-6 |
| IL-8 | IL-10 | IL-17A | IL-21 | IL-28A/B | IL-29 |
| GM-CSF | VEGF | Granzyme A | Granzyme B | Perforin | Granulysin |
| CCL3 | CCL4 | CCL5 | CXCL10 | CXCL12 |
Our advanced platforms employ various techniques for cytokine and chemokine analysis, ensuring precision and reliability. These methods include:
