The vector of anti-Tetanus toxin T cell receptor (TCR) is constructed for the engineering of T cell to target Clostridium tetani Tetanus toxin. The T cells are genetically modified through transduction with a lentiviral vector expressing Tetanus toxin-specific T cell receptor. And the vector product was designed for the treatment of Tetanus.

  • Tetanus toxin is an extremely potent neurotoxin produced by the vegetative cell of Clostridium tetani in anaerobic conditions, causing tetanus. It has no known function for clostridia in the soil environment where they are normally encountered. It is also called spasmogenic toxin, or TeNT.
