DSPE-PEG-DMMA
DSPE-PEG-DMMA is a tumor microenvironment-targeting conjugate. It consists of a DSPE-PEG backbone with a terminal 2,3-Dimethylmaleic Anhydride (DMMA) group. DMMA is an anionizable moiety that confers a charge-reversal property to nanoparticles. It is stable and slightly negative at neutral pH (bloodstream) but hydrolyzes rapidly in the mildly acidic tumor extracellular environment (pH ~6.5-7.0), shedding the DMMA and exposing a positively charged surface. This charge reversal promotes enhanced cellular uptake specifically within tumors. Please note that this product is intended for research purposes only.
