DSPE-PEG-GE11

DSPE-PEG-GE11 incorporates the GE11 peptide conjugated to DSPE via PEG spacer. DSPE enables nanocarrier anchoring, while PEG reduces protein adsorption. The GE11 peptide specifically binds to epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) overexpressed in numerous carcinomas, including breast, lung, and colorectal cancers. This conjugate facilitates tumor-targeted drug delivery with minimal interaction with healthy tissues, improving therapeutic index.
