PCM Pep-LNP is a state-of-the-art peptide-functionalized lipid nanoparticle (LNP), designed for efficient targeted delivery of therapeutic cargoes such as siRNA, mRNA, DNA, small molecule drugs, and RNA-guided gene editing systems, specifically to cardiac cells. Engineered with the PCM peptide, a cardiac cell-specific targeting peptide that recognizes unique receptors or structures on cardiomyocytes, this LNP enables precise recognition and targeting to heart cells for specific therapeutic effects. Our LNP is prepared using DSPE-PEG-PCM and a variety of optional lipid formulations including DLin-MC3-DMA, LP-01, ALC-0315, SM102, and others. These formulations are carefully selected to ensure the LNP has uniform particle size, high encapsulation efficiency, stability, and targeted delivery. Applications of PCM Pep-LNP include research in cardiac gene therapy, myocardial tissue engineering, targeted delivery of cardioprotective agents or drugs for heart failure, developing cardiac-specific imaging probes, and studying cardiac cell biology and disease mechanisms.
