Isolated from donors with active Crohn's Disease, these CD56+ NK cells reflect the systemic innate immune dysregulation associated with transmural gastrointestinal inflammation. The cells are captured in a state that reflects the proinflammatory cytokine milieu characteristic of IBD. This product is optimized for investigating the crosstalk between NK cells and enteric myofibroblasts and the role of regulatory NK subsets in maintaining mucosal homeostasis.
