CTP Pep-LNP is a state-of-the-art peptide-functionalized lipid nanoparticle (LNP), designed for efficient targeted delivery of therapeutic cargoes such as siRNA, mRNA, DNA, small molecule drugs, and RNA-guided gene editing systems, specifically to cardiac cells. Engineered with the CTP peptide, a short peptide sequence specifically designed to recognize and bind to unique receptors or surface markers on cardiomyocytes, this LNP provides a highly specific and stable targeting capability to the heart. Our LNP is prepared using DSPE-PEG-CTP and a variety of optional lipid formulations including DLin-MC3-DMA, LP-01, ALC-0315, SM102, and others. These formulations are carefully selected to ensure the LNP has uniform particle size, high encapsulation efficiency, stability, and targeted delivery. Applications of CTP Pep-LNP include research in cardiac gene therapy, myocardial tissue engineering, targeted delivery of cardioprotective agents or drugs for heart failure, developing cardiac-specific imaging probes, and studying cardiac cell biology and disease mechanisms.
